We have some exciting news to share about Bay Radiology! Our team and services have grown to make your visit even more convenient and comfortable.

More Expertise, Same Compassionate Care

We’re proud to now have four fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologists seeing patients in our Arnold office. Each of our doctors trained at top programs and has years of experience focused exclusively on breast imaging.

Easier Scheduling for Busy Lives
We understand how hard it can be to fit in a mammogram. That’s why we now offer appointments as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 5:00 PM, between Monday – Thursday.

A New, More Flexible Visit Experience
We now offer two types of mammogram appointments:
1. “Online” screenings Stay for your results while you wait
2. “Image and leave” screenings Have your mammogram and go about your day. Most patients will get results by text and email within hours of their mammogram and always within 1 day. If any additional imaging is needed, our staff will call you within 24 hours to schedule a follow up visit within 1–2 business days (compared to weeks later at other facilities). If a biopsy is needed, we’ll offer an appointment within one week—no long waits.

Why We Made These Changes
Shorter visits 90% of patients can now complete their mammogram in less time.
No referral needed for “image and leave” screenings.
Fast answers and peace of mind Most results within one day.
Ready for the future Our model supports upcoming AI technology that will help our doctors detect even the smallest details in your images.

Diagnostic and Urgent Appointments
We continue to reserve appointment slots daily for patients with clinical concerns (e.g., palpable lump, discharge). All diagnostic patients are offered the opportunity to meet directly with our radiologists to review findings and discuss next steps.

Now Offering Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM): We’re excited to announce that Bay Radiology is the first in Anne Arundel County to offer contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) — a new technology that can find breast cancers that may not show up on a standard mammogram in dense breasts. CEM combines your regular mammogram with a small amount of contrast dye (the same safe dye used in CT scans). The dye collects in areas with extra blood flow, helping our doctors see any abnormal tissue more clearly. Learn more about this breakthrough in breast imaging: bay-radiology.com/cem/
